1. I picked this image because of how gruesome but interesting it is. It captures the people lying on the ground, dead, and the one final person standing.  2. This is the picture of 11 men who were lined up and shot because they were "counterrevolutionary" and the Iranian ruler, Ayatullah Ruhollah Khomeini ordered it. Journalists were banned from the scene, but Jahangir Razmi was tipped off and took pictures of it. 3. This photo had other pictures from executions of other counterrevolutionaries, and I learned how gruesome these executions really are.

1. I picked this image because of the story behind it and how much history it has (as well as being a good photo). 2. This picture is one of the only ones that shows the process of death in 9/11, and arguably the most iconic.
