1. I picked this image because of how gruesome but interesting it is. It captures the people lying on the ground, dead, and the one final person standing.  2. This is the picture of 11 men who were lined up and shot because they were "counterrevolutionary" and the Iranian ruler, Ayatullah Ruhollah Khomeini ordered it. Journalists were banned from the scene, but Jahangir Razmi was tipped off and took pictures of it. 3. This photo had other pictures from executions of other counterrevolutionaries, and I learned how gruesome these executions really are.  Other picture: Jahangir Razmi, 1947-present, born in Arak, Iran, did not go to school 1. I picked this image because of the story behind it and how much history it has (as well as being a good photo). 2. This picture is one of the only ones that shows the process of death in 9/11, and arguably the most iconic.

I like this picture because of the bright colors and how the subject looks like she's genuinely having fun. Self Portraits: I think this picture is really interesting because of the background and how we can see underwater a little bit too. I like this picture because it plays with color and also how it makes viewers need to look at it for a while to fully comprehend it. Casual Portraits: I like this picture because of the child's expression and how he focuses on the flower. I like this picture because of how simple it is and the line effect leading up to the subject. How the subject leans is cool too. My
